I went to a foodbloggers party last weekend. It was fabulous. Several there spoke of eating at The Slanted Door. They loved it as well. I must get to SF one day and try it.

Yesterday, the SF Chronicle publised the reciped for Veal Paprikash. It was the most bland stew that we had ever eaten - we didn't even finish our meal and tossed the rest. Did the Chronicle omit some of the ingredients and why didn't the recipe require that the veal be seared (to enhance the taste)?
