12 March 2006: So, my friend Alexandra--a food shlepper par excellence, who always has some delicious discovery she has just brought back from wherever she has flown off to (she is a flight attendant on leave)-- gave me a big BIG box of deep, dark, totally orgasmic chocolate truffles and I've been running around NYC giving little parcels to friends and loved ones, i mean they are soooo yummy i want to share share share. Here is me in Leah and Jon's kitchen, inhaling the chocolatey-chocolate aroma. Then we inhaled as much chocolate as we could. they are so bitter--dark choc ganache rolled in pure cocoa-- that i can taste barely a hint of sweetness, mostly just straight aroma and flavour.
